Bio

Born and raised in Alaska, Ellen Dore, MD, split her time between Anchorage and her family’s cabin across the bay near Seldovia. She undertook undergraduate studies at the University of Alaska Anchorage before attending the University of Washington School of Medicine through the WWAMI program.

Ellen completed her residency in St. Paul, Minnesota, where she met her husband. A few days after graduation, she brought him back to Alaska with her.

Outside of work, Ellen enjoys hiking, kayaking, berry picking, gardening, working on house projects, tending to her sourdough, and tidepooling at the family cabin.
