Bio

Christopher Landess, MD, grew up in Sterling, Alaska, and graduated from Soldotna High School in 1983. After serving seven years in the U.S. Army, including time as a Special Forces medical sergeant, he attended Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee, before pursuing medical school.

Christopher spent nearly 19 years working in emergency rooms throughout North Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. In June 2018, he returned to Alaska and joined South Peninsula Hospital.

He feels fortunate to be back in his home state and values the opportunity to care for patients in the South Peninsula community.
