Bio

Born and raised in Pennsylvania, CherieInglis, MD, earned degrees in international business and accounting from Duquesne University before serving in the U.S. Army. Her military assignments took her to Panama and Fort Bragg, North Carolina, where she met her husband.

Following her Army service, Cheriepursued her lifelong goal of becoming a family physician. She was drawn to family medicine by the opportunity to care for patients of all ages, build lasting relationships, and partner with individuals and families to improve their health and quality of life.

After practicing in North Carolina for several years, Cherieand her husband made Alaska their home in 2017 and settled in Homer. She feels privileged to serve the community and values helping patients find practical, personalized solutions to their healthcare needs.

Outside of work, Cherieenjoys spending time with family and friends, participating in her church community, fishing, and exploring Alaskas outdoors.
