Bio

Natalie Hoshaw, MD, is a U.S. Army veteran whose career has included military medicine, six years in private practice in Atlanta, and nearly two decades of work in rural healthcare. Since 2006, she has focused exclusively on rural medical facilities, often serving patients at Critical Access Hospitals like South Peninsula Hospital. She travels monthly from her home in Arkansas to care for patients in Homer.

In obstetrics, Natalie values working collaboratively with midwives to offer women a broad spectrum of care and practice philosophies. In gynecology, she has a particular interest in minimally invasive operative hysteroscopy, which can evaluate and treat many endometrial conditions and uterine symptoms without the risks, costs, and recovery associated with major surgery.

Outside of work, Natalie enjoys gardening, landscaping, antiquing, puzzles, and world travel. Her future plans include creating a flower farm, animal refuge, and seasonal RV retreat for veterans and first responders on her property in northeast Arkansas.
